Cantabile Youth Singers is dedicated to commissioning and promoting new music and most recently collaborated with Tim Sharp (US), Eric Tuan (US), Will Todd (UK) and Stephen Hatfield (CA).

In 2016 the choir won Gold Medal and first place in the Children’s Choir Category at the Golden State International Competition and, as an invited choir, performed at the American Choral Directors Association Western Division Conference.

“Our selection process at the American Choral Directors Association remains highly selective and is determined by a panel of seasoned professionals with the intention of selecting only the best choirs for our conference programming. Cantabile is certainly of this calibre. I have been a part of their performances, and their work is simply stunning” – Tim Sharp, Executive Director of the American Choral Directors Association.

The choir is greatly looking forward to being part of WSCM2020 and the members feel a strong connection with all New Zealanders, through the power of compassion, love and song.
